Additional info from submitted questions:
-All link building has been natural. I haven’t used any strategies thus far to develop backlinks.
-The site was started from scratch.
I do ask though upon the sale of the site that my likeness will no longer be used (and I will be removing my info from the about me page).
– My team writer and I have collaborated together and have written all the articles in-house as well as done all the content and SEO research. We would not be available to continue working on the site after the sale. All articles have been written since 2020 and have been written with user and SEO best practices so though they “could” be updated, nothing would “need” to be updated at this time.
-I develop about half the recipes for the website myself (and use my in-house photographer) to take photos. The remaining recipes I rely on purchasing in recipe development groups, however, every recipe that goes on the website has been tested for taste and accuracy. The cost of this would vary, as it depends upon if the buyer will be creating their own recipes, or purchasing recipes. Most keto recipes fit nicely in this niche.
– I have only received backlinks organically (not paid or in partnerships with other bloggers).
The revenue and traffic spikes are due to a few factors:
-During q4, my time is split between the two websites and I tend to focus on the other during that time. Because I do both websites mostly alone, the work on No Sugar No Flour slows down with the attention shifted. Those traffic and revenue decreases are usually aligned with this.
-Alternatively, the traffic increases during times when I can put more energy into the website.
-There was also some growth this year with Google picking up lots of new keywords for the website.
-As for the price of tools and hosting, because I have a large blog already, I don’t pay for additional tools. And my hosting is with Bigscoots, currently piggybacked onto my main website. The new owner will have to find their own host for the website upon transfer.
-The new buyer has a great chance of growing this blog significantly with consistency. This website does really well for a niche site due to all the well-written keyword-focused articles. There are several niche Facebook groups that I share the content in, that I can let the new buyer know about upon the sale.
